Light Inside the head

Four or five years ago one afternoon, after I had finished a short meditation, I rolled over to take a nap. Suddenly I started experiencing a light growing inside my head. It began enormous! Then I had the sense of myself lifting my arms in acceptance of the light. I'm not quite sure how long the experience lasted, but at the end of it, I saw images (for lack of a better turn) of my body falling back into my body. My wife and I do a spiritual practice called A Course In Miracles, which I'm sure has something to do with it. But was wondering if a lot of people are having these kind of experiences, as well?
