Twitching while asleep only when touching a certain person

A strange thing just happened to me. I met a former boyfriend last week, and we had not seen each other in over 27 years. I've always felt a connection to him all of this time, and he has with me. We began corresponding 6 months ago and decided to meet. Our connection was spiritual and biological, and thus slept together for the entire week. The unusual part was that he said that whenever I would fall asleep touching him, my body would start twitching in a regular pattern - feet, body, hands, feet body hands, etc. I've never had anyone tell me this before so I'm wondering if it has something to do with our specific connection and touch?
Any ideas?
